Our tumbled range is crafted from 100% solid tumbled brass—nothing else! Raw brass receives a tumble treatment, giving each piece a unique characteristic.

Our tumbled brass is coated with a high-grade lacquer which will help prevent discolouration. However being a solid brass material this has limitations and can slowly patina over time. Meaning the colours will deepen and change with varying amounts of use and environmental factors, creating a beautiful organic and lasting worn look.

We recommend cleaning with a soft damp cloth. No chemicals are required.

Our aged brass products are crafted in solid brass and electroplated with a beautiful aged brass finish, to achieve a beautiful warm brass tone. The surface is then gently brushed to achieve a soft satin finish.

A high-quality industrial grade lacquer is then baked over the product at low temperatures to create a beautiful and durable finish.

Our brass products are crafted in solid brass, nothing else! The finish is then softly brushed to achieve a stunning brush grain and give a soft sheen. This creates a soft gentle gold tone without being overly bright and yellow.

All our brass is double coated with a high grade lacquer to prevent discolouration and abrasion. But even this has limitations and may wear with varying amounts of use and environmental factors. Whilst brass will last for many years, the lacquered finish cannot be guaranteed unconditionally. So we recommend you embrace the beauty of your brass hardware's natural colour over the years...after all you are buying the real solid deal!

*This finish might wear more quickly when exposed to the elements. This includes coastal environments, high humidity, rainfall and wind. We do not recommend that this finish be used in these conditions and wear due to environmental exposure is not covered by our warranty.

If you live in a humid or coastal location this finish is not covered under warranty. We recommend choosing an electroplated finish that is more resistant to patina than natural brass. For more information, please view our warranty here.

The Live Brass finish is inspired by organic and raw textural finishes. We designed this finish based on our love for natural patina and aging of brass. As a living finish, this will form a rich and beautiful aged look that develops based on use and exposure to different environments. 

THE AGING PROCESS 

Live Brass is a raw, unsealed brass that has been left unlacquered to allow for natural oxidation and patina to take place. This finish has been designed to age naturally, with the intent of a change in the finish over time. 

Exposure to high-use and wet areas, dust, humidity and natural oils will deepen the colour of your pieces, and speed up the aging process. Exposure to different elements and environments can make this finish so beautiful, as every piece will age uniquely, no aging will be the same. 

To brighten up the Live Brass finish, it is recommended to use a metal polishing solution.

Our black products are crafted in solid brass and electroplated with a matte black finish.

After electroplating, a high-quality industrial grade lacquer is baked over the product at low temperatures to achieve a beautiful even matte black finish with exquisite colour consistency. This achieves not only a fabulous finish but one that is durable.

The brushed nickel range is crafted in solid brass and electroplated to achieve a beautiful warm silver tone. The surface is gently brushed to a soft satin finish.

Our nickel products are lacquered with a high quality lacquer to prevent discolouration and abrasion.

Our bronze products are crafted from solid brass and softly brushed with a bronze oil to achieve a rich tone. Each piece is hand finished to create a beautiful natural colour variation and depth, meaning there will be slight variances from one piece to another.

Our bronze range is coated with a high-quality lacquer to prevent discolouration and abrasion, and then baked at low temperatures to achieve a stunning matte finish.

Our white range is crafted in solid brass and powder-coated in matte white.

The powder-coat finish is baked onto the product to achieve increased durability and strength.

Our marble and stone range is a selection of our favourite high quality marble and travertine varieties. We hand select every slab our handles are cut from, to ensure every handle we make is a unique piece.

All our marble handles have a honed finish—the marble is refined to a super smooth finish without being polished—to give it a soft matte feel without the shine.

We should note that because marble and travertine are completely natural products, there will be variation within the grain and colour of each piece. This randomness is the beauty of these natural products and should be embraced.
