The surface is then sealed with a high-quality industrial lacquer to protect against discolouration and wear. Over time, as with all real brass, the lacquer may naturally wear, allowing the surface to gradually develop a warm patina and deepen with character.

To care for your polished brass pieces, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry with a clean microfibre cloth to keep the surface streak-free. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals.

Our Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is a living finish that evolves over time, developing a unique patina with use. Achieved through a chemical treatment on solid brass, it creates a rich, deep tone that matures with handling and exposure. Each piece is waxed for protection, allowing the finish to develop naturally without the constraints of lacquer.
