Plateau Project: How Georges Antoni blends ‘minimalism’ with ‘comfortable’ in his functional family home

We are thrilled to announce our feature in the Plateau Project in Vogue Living’s latest issue—Escape to Summer.
Plateau Project is the home of the talented Australian Fashion photographer Georges Antoni and his family. Designed by Rama Architects and interiors by Lara Hutton, the outcome of this project aligns immaculately with George’s design brief of creating “a tonal and minimalistic home” that is equally as comfortable and modern. Located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, this beautiful home is warm and homely. Designed to welcome copious amounts of natural light, this is complemented by the muted and soft tones flooding through the entire home.
George’s home depicts a sense of purity and quiet luxury. The mix of refined architectural elements, interiors and high-quality materials form an understated but sophisticated home. Tucked away between the oak drawers on one of two island benches, features our Bronze Carlisle Drawer Pulls. The simplicity of the kitchen layout highlights the finer details in the space like the Iranian travertine benchtop and paneled roof.
You may notice our Bronze Curve Pulls, featuring in different rooms and paired with high-quality, bespoke joinery. We love how these handles have been highlighted as a statement piece on the cabinetry. The artistry of this project is accentuated in the layering of the premium materials and carefully designed structural elements.
We applaud George and the designers for restoring the original bones of the house whilst modernising the home so beautifully. We love the way their design is fresh and new but radiates the warm feeling of a lived-in, family home. Lo & Co are proud to see how our signature handles have been tied into this exquisite project so effortlessly.
