Designed for standard internal doors, they allow the door to be lifted off its hinges without removing a single screw, making them ideal wherever accessibility or easy removal matters. They are also commonly used to support DDA-compliant design requirements.

Important: choosing left or right

Lift-Off Hinges are handed and sold individually. To choose the correct hinge, stand on the side of the door where it swings away from you (the side you normally open it from). Hinges on the left = LEFT hinge. Hinges on the right = RIGHT hinge.

Recommended quantities

For most standard doors, two lift-off hinges will provide adequate support. A third hinge may be used for taller doors where additional support is required.
